چکیده

This study was aimed to evaluate the influence of Human Leukocyte Antigens- G (HLA-G) gene polymorphisms on risk rheumatoid arthritis (RA). In present study, blood samples were collected from 100 patients and healthy controls. Serum levels HLA-G in both controls measured using ELISA kit which shown a higher significant differences (p< 0.05) comparison between them (539.3 ng/ml 139.3ng/ml) respectively. The frequency allele genotypes patient groups control determined Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) for 14 bp polymorhisms exon 8 (rs66554220) while direct sequencing analysis done determine 2 (rs1130355) (G 1850 A) SNPs human leucocyte antigens- (HLA- G). There statistically difference all HLA-G14-bp RA with probability homozygote genotype insertion (0.006), deletion (0.003) heterozygote (0.000) From results odd ratio (OR) found that existence homozygotes give protection effect disease O.R= 0.44 heterozygotes act as factor 3.31. Homozygotes had no because not groups. mutation occur position G>A three (GG, AG AA). Calculations showed GG AA associated p- value genotypes. While association p (0.449).From gave O.R( 0.29 0.76 ) respectively, acted 4.0.

Non-HLA gene polymorphisms in juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

A substantial amount of work has gone into elucidating the non-HLA genetic associations in JRA. In this paper, we attempt to provide an overview of this body of knowledge. Direct comparison of the different studies is difficult. Different ethnic populations, different JRA/JIA subgroups, and different systems of nomenclature and classification all impose various limitations. Adding to the comple...

P-203: Investigating Association of HLA-G Gene Polymorphisms and Failed Implantation in Human Embryos

Background: HLA-G is a non-classical human leukocyte antigen expressed primarily in fetal tissues at the maternal-fetal interface. The unique structure of HLA-G molecule permits a restricted peptide presentation and allows the modulation of the immune system. There is now general agreement that HLA-G is an important immunotolerant molecule with the capability of inhibiting immune cell functions...

Gene Polymorphisms and Pharmacogenetics in Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a systemic, chronic and inflammatory disease of unknown etiology with genetic predisposition. The advent of new biological agents, as well as the more traditional disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs, has resulted in highly efficient therapies for reducing the symptoms and signs of RA; however, not all patients show the same level of response in disease progression...
